PILL AND E.I.G INCIDENT SUMMARY

13/08 Call to the community centre re a group of youths having been seen to go round the back, four of them had arrived on mopeds also reports of noise, officers attended the scene, no damage was found and the youths moved on.
14/08 call to Sturmey way at Ham Green re young children building ramps in the road, this issue is being addressed by PCSO Skeath, who is visiting the parents of the children involved.
21/08 call re damage being caused to a fence in Macrae RD, a police officer attended within 20 minutes and all the youths had gone and no damage was discovered.
21/08 report of youths in the precinct deliberately kicking a ball against the window of the Kebab Kitchen, Police attended within 8 minutes and the group were advised accordingly and moved on, there were no further calls.
22/08 small group of youths seen to go round the back of the Methodist church, no offences committed.
25/08 (pill Regatta) four calls received during the evening re under age drinking, Police officers were in attendance throughout and no offences were discovered, a letter of thanks has been received from the organisers regarding the Police involvement.
26/08 call to Somerset Lodge nursing home re young children throwing stones in the area, Police attended within 10 minutes, the youths were advised re their conduct and their details obtained in order that their parents can be informed.
05/09 reports of a digger being started up and possibly moved late at night in Marine Parade, the Police Helicopter and local units responded quickly, the area was checked and nothing was amiss.
07/09 call to Brookside fields re Noisy youths, we attended within ten minutes and discovered 5 15 yr olds who had half a bottle of sparkling wine between them, this was poured away and they were moved on and no further calls were received.
15/09 Call to Sturmey way re kids building ramps, a PCSO attended from Portishead within 20 minutes but no children or ramps were found.
A male with mental health issues has been causing problems in and around the Chapel Row area of Pill, this has resulted in him being arrested on two occasions on one of which Police had to force entry into his home and restrain him, he is presently detained under the mental health act.
A male attended at the CO- OP and stole a packet of sweets and when challenged he was verbally abusive to female members of staff, he has since been arrested and was given a custodial sentence in relation to this and numerous other matters.
There have been three reported domestics and one theft, which involved the taking of garden ornaments overnight.
